Exhibition - Seeds Shine Before the Eternal Ashes
Pedro Matsuo's exhibition presents a reflection on the transience of life and the eternity of memories and feelings. The combination of photoluminescent tapes and graphite drawings on the canvases creates a striking visual metaphor, highlighting the duality between the ephemeral and the permanent. While the tapes represent the light of life and everything that is tangible and present, the back of the canvases, with graphite drawings, symbolizes the durability of memories and feelings that remain after physical departure. The exhibition also explores the concept of eternal value through the metaphor of the rose, inviting viewers to contemplate the beauty of the ephemeral and to recognize the permanence of the intangible.
These works challenge viewers to value each moment and experience, reminding us that, although physical existence is transient, love, memories and feelings endure eternally. The exhibition instigates a deeper appreciation of life, encouraging an understanding that, even after physical loss, the essential remains, immortalized in our hearts and souls.
